Our Story
Garlic Crush owner, Maher “Matt” Jabbour, originally from Lebanon, moved to Bellevue in 1998 for a position at Microsoft. With his family, he bought and operated a small Mediterranean grocery store in downtown Bellevue in 2004 where they sold homemade artisan dishes from their homeland.
With the unique Mediterranean menu he offered, his fresh, authentic, casual food quickly became popular and Matt made a decision to expand into more of a “fast, casual” restaurant and move away from the storefront business. In 2008, Matt left Microsoft and opened Garlic Crush.
Our menu is simple but rich and flavorful, our guests tell us it’s “addictive.” What we serve is fresh, healthy, fast, and tasty.
Matt has created all the flavor profiles for Garlic Crush himself. He learned and was informally trained by his parent’s traditional home cooking. The Garlic Crush menu is cooked to order, affordable and convenient. We offer traditional Mediterranean and authentic Middle Eastern flavors including a variety of salads, tasters, sandwiches, gyros, kebabs and vegetarian choices.
